Conq.io - week3 progress


We are now 3 weeks in. Happy with the progress we've made so far. We now have:

  • hexagon map rendering
  • territory ownership by players
  • buildings
  • troop recruiting
  • pathfinding
  • fog of war
  • basic battle system
  • basic procedural map generation
  • resource collection from mines
  • upkeep system
  • time-based turn system

The next TODO are:

  • hero recruit
  • add a few more troops and visuals
  • better visualization of battle (damage text, troops moving towards the target)
  • implement victory condition & victory screen
  • improved AI
  • NPC mobs - improved dashboard for both army & buildings
